Tinder has recently released a ‘swipe scoreboard’ that reveals city-wise hot-spots where the chances of finding a match are higher.
Based on data, Koramangala tops the chart in Bengaluru, where one gets ‘right swiped’ the most. It is followed by Whitefield, HSR Layout, Jayanagar, Kalyan Nagar, JP Nagar, Deccan Herald reported.
Tinder has released the data that has been crunched between the months of August and September this year across seven cities in India. The cities are Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad.
The three locations that have emerged as winners in Mumbai are Andheri West, Bandra West and Worli while Saket, Greater-Kailash and Kamla Nagar have been ranked as the top three in Delhi.
If one takes a closer look, the places where malls and shopping arcades are present have come out on top. The demographics is predominantly young, under the age of 35 and the neighbourhoods that have been listed are also relatively affluent.
Tinder’s main market lies in Asia and reportedly over 75 lakh swipes happen in a single day. The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
