Lok Sabha Elections 2019: BJP Leading In Both Chhattisgarh And Jharkhand; Congress Putting Up A Flop Show

In Chhattisgarh, the state which saw victory of Congress party in Assembly elections last year seems to be favouring BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Of total 11 seats, BJP is leading in 9 while Congress maintains a meagre score of two with a lead in Bastar and Mahasamund.
In Jharkhand, BJP is leading on 10 seats out of total 14. Shibu Soren of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is trailing behind in Dumka, while BJP’s Sunil Soren is leading by a margin of 16,500 votes. In khunti, BJP’s Arjun Munda is leading while in Hazaribagh, BJP candidate Jayant Sinha is in the lead. Congress maintains a lead on two seats.
