In Rajasthan, where 20 candidates were leading by 2 lakh votes and in Uttar Pradesh, two men in saffron are set to emerge victorious with a huge margin.
Swami Sakshi Ji Maharaj is leading by 4,00,178 votes in Unnao, a lead in tandem with Narendra Modi's in Varanasi, who has now surpassed the earlier figure and leads by 4,19,996 votes. Sakshi Maharaj has been on an offensive, attacking the opposition a day before counting was to be held. He had also charged at the opposition saying that while BJP was welcoming slogans like"Vande Mataram", Congress was encouraging "Chowkidar chor hai" slogans.
He also rubbed salt on the opposition's wounds, and said that people had voted for Modi surpassing religion and caste barriers.
In Sikar, Sumedhanand Saraswati is leading against Subhash Maharia of Congress at 2,90,234 votes. Saraswati is a sitting MP and is vocal on several issues.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
