As the Naval Commanders Conference concluded in New Delhi, the Indian Navy has said that it intends to incorporate Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics into its functioning, reports The Hindu. The conference also saw a new Digital Library being set up and inaugurated for the navy.
The new digital library will help improve data management, collection, and retrieval of archived information across the Navy.
The Navy is also taking steps towards better data management and protection practices as part of a cyber-security initiative.
Along with these, India’s second indigenous aircraft career was also discussed. India is also working on mine-counter vehicles, anti-submarine craft, and other vehicles across various ship-building facilities

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
