Pakistan's Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad was beaten and pelted with eggs by two officials from the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in London, reports Financial Express.
The two PPP officials took the responsibility of the assault on Pakistani Minister and justified their actions against Ahmad's usage of 'abusive language' for PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Defending their act, officials said, "He should be thankful we only used eggs as a British way of dealing with such uncivilised politician. He started this we ended it."
Meanwhile, Ahmad had recently garnered some traction in India and Pakistan after he had said, “India was unable to confront Pakistan as it knew that any war between the two Asian countries would not be a conventional war.”
After Pakistan backed Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) had carried out Pulwama suicide bombing attack in February killing 44 CRPF jawans, Ahmad had threatened India of dire consequences if it looked at Pakistan with an 'evil eye'. He had said, "If anyone tries to look at Pakistan with evil in their minds, their eyes will be gouged out."
