Please consider asking DD, and advising other channels, to telecast Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana and B R Chopra's Mahabharata daily. Perhaps two episodes a day each.
They acted as magnets in quarantining people back then. They still can.
This is very reasonable demand @PrakashJavdekar ji, @PMOIndia .

This generation has not been witness to telecast of the two foundational epics on DD.
Instead of watching crass saas bahu serials, best that people get to watch Ramayan &Mahabharat on DD during isolation period https://t.co/ZsphNn2Hoo
The Ramayan TV serial directed by Ramanand Sagar first aired on DD National in 1987 and B R Chopra’s Mahabharat aired a year later.
Both the adaptations generated record audiences and have gone down as one of the most successful screenings in Indian television history. Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan was viewed by at least 650 million people in 55 countries and B R Chopra’s Mahabharat received a similar reception.
