CCTV footage has emerged from Rajasthan’s city of Kota where women have been caught spitting in plastic bags and then throwing them inside people’s houses. The local police establishment has now taken cognisance of the matter and is trying to nab the accused, ANI has reported.
The incident has been reported from the Vallabhvadi area in Kota. The area has now been sanitised.
An ABP News report had earlier carried a CCTV footage.

The motive of the accused women has not yet been identified.
Incidentally, multiple instances have been recently reported in India wherein the Tablighi Jamaat members have been caught spitting on doctors and medical staffers. Just yesterday (12 April) a Tablighi linked Covid-19 patient was booked under attempt to murder after spitting on a nurse.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
