In the bid for future generations to rediscover the glory of ancient India, the archaeological sites of Rakhigarhi, Shivasagar, Dholavira, Adichanallur and Hasthinapur will be developed as iconic sites with on-site museums.

Iconic tourism sites in India will also be connected by more premium Tejas Expresses for the ease of tourists. An Indian institute of tourism and conservation would be established under the Culture Ministry and a tribal museum will come up in Ranchi.

Earlier the Finance Minister also quoted India’s ancient Sindhu-Saraswati Civilisation in her budget speech to stress on the importance of entrepreneurship in ancient India.
