Bengaluru-based fintech firm Happay is collaborating with Uber to provide a new 'Auto-Expense” feature. The feature will help business travellers file for reimbursements easily, as per a report by Telecom Talk.
Customers can take advantage of the auto-expense feature by creating an ‘Uber for Business’ account for their company and inviting their employees to use the company’s ‘Uber for Business’ profile.
After employees set up the account, they simply have to select Happay as their expense management provider.
When an employee completes a ride on their business profile, Uber will automatically send ride information to their Happay account. Happay will then make it ready for submission.
“Business travellers no longer need to punch in their ride data manually,” Anshul Rai, Co-Founder and CEO of Happay, said in a statement.
The feature will help corporate finance teams to have more control and will be able to track travel expenditure in real-time and can process reimbursements easily, said a Happay official.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
