If you are feeling under the weather and thinking of popping a pill of Combiflam, DCold or Cetrizine, you may want to think again.
The Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) screened these drugs in March and the results were as follows:
-Combiflam was marked substandard because of ‘disintegration’
-DCold featured in the list for the same reason.
-Cetrizine was marked substandard because of ‘related substances’
Readers may note that that Combiflam is taken as a pain-killer, D Cold is used when suffering from common cold and Cetrizine is anti-allergic.
At the time of publication, the responses from the side of the three drugs were not obtained.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
