In a touching video which exemplifies the struggles and risks faced by those battling the coronavirus pandemic, an inconsolable toddler can be seen urging his father to stay at home.

In the video posted by news channel ABP Majha the distraught son can be seen saying, “Baher corona aahe papa tumi baher jau naka (There is a coronavirus outbreak outside father, please don’t go outside)”.
The cop meanwhile tried to pacify his son by explaining to him that he needs to go out to do his duty.
“Saheban cha phone aala hota mala...don ach mintat jaun yeto mi (My boss called me for work...I will come home soon)“, said the father.
In an attempt to pacify the son, the father picks him up but it does little to console the distraught kid.
The sacrifices made by doctors, health personnel, policemen, janitors, aviation and transportation personnel battling all odds have been a cornerstone feature during the coronavirus pandemic.
A section of the medical personnel and flight crew members though have reportedly had to face misbehaviour and boycott, despite assurances of them taking all possible precautions.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
