A 49-year-old woman from Ulhasnagar in Maharashtra who has tested positive for coronavirus has found to have attended a Satsang along with at least 1,500 other devotees, Times of India has reported.
The woman fell ill soon after returning from a Dubai trip with her family on 4 March but decided to attend the Satsang on 8 March. After her health continued to deteriorate she was shifted to a private hospital and then referred to the Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai. She subsequently tested positive for coronavirus.
The health authorities have now quarantined her family members. One team has been assigned to sanitise her residence and another has been tasked with tracking down all those who have come in contact with her.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
