Ahead of Delhi assembly elections, a video has gone viral in which a man has alleged that AAP had hired him through a third party outsourcing company for campaigning, but denied him his pay as he was late.
In the video, which has been released by Political Kida, the man can be heard saying that he was unemployed and was seeking a job. He registered in a company by the name “Team Lease” who asked him to go to Connaught Place and campaign for Aam Aadmi Party. He was also promised a sum of Rs 500 per day for the task.
He further adds that the campaigning team denied paying him the promised sum as he could not reach the place in time and was two hours late.
Dear @ArvindKejriwal, just because a man reached a bit late, why are you not paying him Rs 500 as promised for coming to support AAP at CP?

He wasn't able to find the location, next time please send the detailed address with nearby landmark. pic.twitter.com/Dl4ouVEYQN
He further reveals the name of the persons in-charge of sending people like him to the AAP’s event via Team Lease. Political Kida cut the video short as the man was revealing their phone numbers to respect their privacy.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
