Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday (27 January) became the butt of online jokes and ridicule over his logic to defend the poor quality of Delhi’s water supply.

In an interview given to The Lallantop whose snippet has gone viral on social media, Sisodia was questioned about the poor quality of supply water in his constituency.
The reporter claimed that he himself witnessed the abysmal water coming out of the their taps.
Sisodia then interrupted the reporter by asking him the time when the residents opened their taps. He added that if the residents had opened their taps during water supply timings they would have received clean water.
In non supply hours the slug and waste in the pipes would be sucked in by the motor.
“If you run your motor after the supply hours, physics says that it will suck in all the waste...It is not scientifically possible to ensure otherwise”, said Sisodia,
