Even weddings have not remained immune from the frenzy of this electoral season and a viral video on social media shows guests dancing at a wedding while a song urging people to vote for BJP plays on.
A video had emerged on social media where guests are dancing on a twist of a popular Bollywood song Sasural Genda Phool.
What an amazing love for our honorable PM @narendramodi ji..

Roughly, the lyrics urge people to vote for the BJP while calling it the best party and adds that the lotus will win this year. The song continues in a rhythmic manner to urge various members of the family like uncle, aunts, father-in-law, mother-in-law and more to vote for Prime Minister Modi’s party.
Earlier, a video had also gone viral on social media where the friends of the groom were heard chanting pro-Modi slogans during the Baraat. A family had also printed “no gifts please, vote for Modi” on their wedding invitation cards but were sent a notice by the Election Commission.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
