A polling agent has been found dead in mysterious circumstances in West Bengal’s Dakshin Dinajpur district’s Buniadpur region. Identified as Babulal Murmu, the polling officers’ body was found hanging inside his house. He was part of the reserve electoral official team.
Meanwhile, unidentified goons were caught on camera hurling bombs near a polling booth in Murshidabad’s Rainagar. It has been speculated that this act was carried out to spread terror among the voters.
