YouTube has announced that it will stop the feature that allows users to share their activity on Twitter after 31 January, reports Tribune India.
But the users will still be able to find and add links from their social media to their YouTube channels as well as share videos from YouTube pages.
Currently, Twitter allows users to share their YouTube activity on its platform via the option "Share your public activity to Twitter" in the Connected apps section of YouTube settings.
Instead, YouTube is asking users to share videos on social networks d from YouTube via the Share button.
The users will be able to see an option to share on social media after a video is successfully uploaded, say reports.
Twitter also stated that this new update wouldn't affect the already uploaded items that have been shared on Twitter before. Those posted activities will remain on Twitter, the report added.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
