After his first official meeting with former chief minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy, the state president for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) — B Y Vijayendra — said that the saffron party will win all the seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

BJP and Janata Dal (Secular)- JD(S) have stitched up an alliance to take on the Congress in the upcoming polls. In Kumaraswamy's farmhouse on the outskirts of Bengaluru, in Bidadi, the duo have reportedly chalked a strategy for the upcoming polls, in a meeting that lasted 45 minutes.

The meeting was also attended by Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil. However, the same report by Times of India mentions that no discussion regarding seat-sharing was taken place.

According to the statement given by the duo, they said that the BJP-JD(S) combine will win all the 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state in order to make sure Ptime Minister Narendra Modi is re-elected.

Asked about the disgruntlement within the party over him being offered the chair, Vijayendra was quick to dismiss the questions by stating that they were 'small differences' which will be sorted out very soon in the party.

"Even now people speak of how former chief minister B S Yediyurappa and I and our coalition government laid the foundation for Karnataka's growth with our schemes, " Kumaraswamy was quoted as saying.
