Dawood Malik, a prominent figure involved in anti-India activities and closely associated with the wanted terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar, was recently assassinated on Pakistani soil. His death marks the latest incident in a series of events where unknown gunmen have targeted known terrorists.

This is the second such event in October alone, with Shahid Latif, the mastermind behind the 2016 terror attack on the Indian Air Force Base in Pathankot, being killed earlier this month in Sialkot, Pakistan.

These mysterious assassinations, often executed by unidentified individuals, have sparked widespread speculations. There are hints from Pakistani security agencies about the potential involvement of India's external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW).

Here's an updated list of terrorists associated with acts of terrorism and violence in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), Punjab, and other Indian states, who have been killed:

(1) Dawood Malik (Latest Incident)

A close aide of wanted terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar, Dawood Malik was involved in anti-India activities. He was shot dead in North Waziristan by unidentified gunmen. Malik was a key figure in Lashkar-e-Jabbar and was closely associated with one of India's most wanted terrorists, Azhar.

(2) Shahid Latif (11 October 2023)

Latif, a terrorist affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), was on the most-wanted list of Indian security agencies. He masterminded the 2016 Pathankot terror attacks, resulting in the deaths of seven security personnel. He was killed by unidentified gunmen in Sialkot, Pakistan.

(3) Ziaur Rehman (29 September 2023)

A member of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Rehman was involved in radicalizing youth against India. He was shot dead by motorcycle-borne unknown assailants in Karachi.

(4) Sukhdool Singh (21 September 2023)

Also known as Sukha Duneke, Singh, a Khalistani terrorist, was associated with Arshdeep Singh, a notorious gangster and Khalistani terrorist in Canada. He was assassinated in Winnipeg, Canada.

(5) Abu Qasim Kashmiri (8 September 2023)

Also known as Riyaz Ahmad from Jammu, he was the key figure behind the Dhangri attack in Rajouri. He was killed by unidentified gunmen in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

An operative of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and a close aide of Hafeez Saeed, Arain was responsible for the madrassa network of Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD). He was gunned down near his shop in Nawabshah, Karachi. The Sidhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) claimed responsibility for his assassination.

(7) Hardeep Singh Nijjar (19 June 2023)

Nijjar, the chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force and head of the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib, was assassinated within the Gurudwara's premises. He had a significant criminal record in India due to his involvement in various terrorist activities.

(12) Syed Khalid Raza (27 February 2023)

Raza, a former commander of Al-Badr Mujahideen, was killed in Karachi. He had close ties to Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin and was notably involved in infiltrating terrorists into the Kupwara region of J&K.

(13) Aijaz Ahmad Ahangar (14 February 2023)
