BJP president J P Nadda will deliver the inaugural address on 17 February, followed by a central address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 18 February.
The convention will focus on deliberating on comprehensive agendas for the Lok Sabha polls and presenting a roadmap for electoral success to party members.
Former law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, speaking to the media at the party’s central office, emphasized the BJP’s ambition to win 370 seats and the NDA’s target to exceed 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Prasad highlighted that the convention would focus on organisational agendas.
Taking a dig at Opposition parties, Prasad asserted that the BJP stands out for its democratic organisational efforts, including timely national conventions, executive meetings, and other programmes at state and district levels.
The convention is expected to conclude with the adoption of two resolutions following discussions on the upcoming elections. This will be followed by a nationwide outreach program targeting 6 crore beneficiary families across the country from 25 February to 5 March.
The outreach initiative will involve deploying 25 lakh party workers to visit households benefitting from various government schemes and affixing stickers outlining developmental guarantees.
