Dawood Ibrahim Hospitalised In Karachi After Suspected Poisoning: Report

Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim has been admitted to a hospital in Karachi, Pakistan, due to a severe health issue. Although there are speculations that he may have been poisoned, there is yet to be any confirmation of this.

According to reports, Dawood has been hospitalised for over two days.

India Today reported citing sources that Dawood Ibrahim is kept under tight security within the hospital, being the sole patient on his floor.

Access to this floor is strictly limited to high-ranking hospital officials and his immediate family members.

The Mumbai Police are making efforts to glean further details about the hospitalization of the notorious underworld figure from his kin, Alishah Parkar and Sajid Wagle, the report said.

In January, the National Investigating Agency was told by Haseena Parker's son that Dawood, his underworld don uncle, resides in Karachi following his second marriage.

The NIA also suggested in its chargesheet against Dawood Ibrahim that he and his top aides control Pakistan's Karachi airport.
