Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Combined Commanders' Conference (CCC) 2025 in Kolkata on September 15, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defence.
The three-day event, scheduled from September 15 to 17, will bring together top military and civilian leadership to discuss critical aspects of India's defence strategy.
The conference carries the theme 'Year of Reforms - Transforming for the Future' and will be held in Kolkata, West Bengal. It serves as the apex-level brainstorming forum for the Armed Forces, facilitating exchanges at conceptual and strategic levels between the nation's civil and military leadership.
Key attendees include Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Raksha Rajya Mantri, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, and Defence Secretary. Secretaries from other ministries, along with officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Integrated Defence Staff, are also expected to participate.
The CCC 2025 will focus on three main areas: reforms, transformation and change, and operational preparedness. These elements underscore the Armed Forces' commitment to institutional reforms, deeper integration, and technological modernisation while maintaining multi-domain operational readiness.
This marks the first structured interaction of all three Services with the Prime Minister following Operation Sindoor.
