Former Agniveers To Get 10 Per Cent Quota, Age Relief In Central Armed Police Forces

The Union Home Ministry has announced 10 per cent reservation for vacancies within Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) for ex-Agniveers.

"CISF has made all the preparations in this regard," stated CISF DG Neena Singh, highlighting that 10 per cent of the posts in constable recruitment will now be reserved for Agniveers.

Additionally, ex-Agniveers will be exempted from the physical test and granted age relaxation in CISF.

BSF Director General Nitin Agrawal said that 10 per cent of total vacancies will be reserved for Agniveers.

There will also be age relaxations, with the first batch receiving five years of age relaxation and subsequent batches receiving three years.

CRPF DG Anish Dayal Singh has said all arrangements have been made to recruit former Agniveers, Economic Times reported.

He added that Agniveers have learned discipline while in the army.

With this arrangement, we will have trained and disciplined personnel from day one. The first batch of Agniveers will be given 5 years age relaxation in CRPF, the official said.

SSB DG Daljit Singh has said that 10 per cent of constable vacancies have been reserved for former Agniveers.

The first batch in SSB will be given five years age relaxation and will not be required to undergo any physical efficiency test.

Manoj Yadav, the director general of the RPF, announced that all future constable recruitment in the RPF will have a 10 per cent reservation for ex-Agniveers.

He expressed enthusiasm about welcoming ex-Agniveers and said that their inclusion would provide new strength, energy, and a morale boost to the force.
