Hizbul Terrorist Arrested By Delhi Police's Special Cell, Connected To Multiple Terror Incidents In Jammu And Kashmir

The Delhi Police's Special Cell announced the arrest of a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist named Javaid Mattoo with a bounty of Rs 5 lakh on his head on Thursday (4 January) in Delhi.

Currently, he is undergoing questioning according to a report from NDTV.

Mattoo is wanted in connection with multiple terror-related incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.

The police mentioned that he had been under the surveillance of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for an extended period and is alleged to have masterminded various terror-related incidents.

The Delhi Police Special Cell, in collaboration with the NIA, conducted a search operation leading to his arrest.

Special Commissioner, Special Cell, HGS Dhaliwal stated that the suspect would undergo collaborative interrogation by both the police and the NIA to determine his involvement in the various cases filed against him.
