Chirag Paswan, the president of NDA ally Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), has said that he will unconditionally support the ruling alliance.

"Modi government is going to be formed for the third time under the leadership of Narendra Modi...I do not believe in the politics of bargaining," Paswan said while speaking to the reporters on Tuesday (4 June).

Paswan's statement comes as LJP(Ram Vilas) is leading on all the five seats that it contested in Bihar Lok Sabha elections.

Paswan is contesting from Hajipur seat, where he is leading RJD candidate Shiv Chandra Ram by over 1.54 lakh votes.

The LJP (Ram Vilas) chief also credited every leader and worker of the party for the party's performance in the Lok Sabha elections.

This comes amid reports that the INDI Alliance is attempting to approach Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for support.

The counting of votes for the Lok Sabha polls 2024 is currently underway, but indications portray the NDA will secure a narrow victory.

BJP is emerging as the single largest party, but is falling short of the majority mark of 272. However, the party along with its NDA allies can form the government.

Meanwhile, athough the INDI Alliance is unlikely to reach the magic figure, a strategic combination could still propel the Congress-led alliance to the government formation at the Centre.
