Just a day after its release, Sidhu Moosewala's latest song, the first to be released after his death, has been removed from YouTube.
Close to a month after Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead, the singer's track "SYL" was released on Friday on YouTube and other music streaming platforms.
Written and composed by Sidhu, the new song was released by music producer MXRCI.
While the song is purportedly on the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, which has been a bone of contention between Punjab and Haryana for several decades, the video of the song contains visuals of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, Balwant Singh Rajoana and Jagtar Singh Hawara. The video also attempts to glorify Khalistani terrorists Davinder Pal Bhullar, Gurdeep Singh Khaira, Lakhwinder Singh, Jagtar Singh Tara.
Also, in the video, Moosewala appears to be paying tribute to Babar Khalsa terrorist Balwinder Singh Jattana who killed two engineers involved in the construction of the Sutlej-Yamuna link canal project in 1990. The project construction was stalled temporarily after the brutal killing of the engineers.
INC leader & singer Sidhu Moosewala'a last song "SYL" hits 16mn views in 20hrs. The lyrics & visuals are about disputed SYL Canal which dangerously provokes violence, glorifies terror!sm, & fuels the fire of 'self-sovereignty' in an already struggling nation with anarchism.
