Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Here Are The Latest Voter Turnout Figures For The First Phase Polling Across 21 States, UTs

The first phase of the voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is ongoing across 102 Parliamentary constituencies in 21 states and UTs.

As of 9.00 am, voter turnout percentages vary across states participating in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. 

In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, 8.64 per cent of voters have cast their ballots, while Arunachal Pradesh recorded a turnout of 4.95 per cent.

In Assam, the voter participation stands at 11.15 per cent, while Bihar recorded a turnout of 9.23 per cent.

Chhattisgarh saw a relatively higher turnout at 12.02 per cent, while Jammu and Kashmir registered 10.43 per cent. Lakshadweep reported a turnout of 5.59 per cent, while Madhya Pradesh saw a turnout of 15 per cent.

In Maharashtra, 7.28 per cent of voters have cast their votes, while 13.01 per cent and 13.71 per cent voter turnouts have been recorded in Manipur and Meghalaya respectively.

In Mizoram, 17.43 per cent of voters have exercised their franchise, while Nagaland recorded a turnout of 13.07 per cent. Puducherry saw a participation rate of 12.75 per cent, while Rajasthan registered a turnout of 10.67 per cent.

In Sikkim, voter participation stands at 7.92 per cent, while Tamil Nadu recorded a turnout of 9.25 per cent.

Tripura witnessed a relatively higher turnout at 15.87 per cent, while Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand saw turnouts of 12.66 per cent and 10.54 per cent, respectively.

West Bengal reported a notably high voter participation rate of 15.09 per cent.
