Oriental Rail Secures Orders From Indian Railways For Coach Seats, Berths Supply And Installation

Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited (ORIL) has announced that it received two significant orders from Indian Railways, collectively valued at over Rs 11.48 crore.

In a filing with BSE, the company disclosed an order worth Rs 9.03 crore from the Modern Coach Factory (MCF) in Raebareli.

The contract entails the manufacturing and supply of 90 sets of seats and berths for LWSCN coaches and 40 sets of seats for LHB GS coaches.

The delivery is scheduled in two phases: the 90 sets by 13 July 2026, and the 40 sets by 11 May 2026.

According to the order terms, payment will be made in full upon receipt, inspection, and acceptance of the materials by the consignee at the destination.

Additionally, ORIL has secured another order valued at Rs 2.45 crore from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai.

This contract involves the supply and installation of 32 sets of coach seats and berths for LSCN/BW2 coaches.

The execution timeline for this order extends up to 31 January 2027.

Up to 90 per cent of the supply portion will be paid upon submission of the inspection certificate and provisional physical receipt certificate.

The remaining 10 per cent, along with full installation charges, will be paid after final acceptance and certification of installation.
