Over 10 Per Cent Voting Till 9 AM In Fourth Phase Of Lok Sabha Elections: West Bengal Records Highest Turnout

Voters in 96 parliamentary constituencies across nine states and one Union Territory are voting in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha election today (13 May).

Further, polling is also underway for all 175 seats of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and 28 seats of Odisha Legislative Assembly simultaneously.

Nine states and one Union Territory -- Andhra Pradesh (25), Bihar (5), Jharkhand (4), Madhya Pradesh (8), Maharashtra (11), Odisha (4), Telangana (17), Uttar Pradesh (13), West Bengal (8), and Jammu and Kashmir (1) -- are voting for Lok Sabha elections today.

Till 9 am, the seats have clocked an average 10.35 per cent turnout till 9.00 am.

In Andhra Pradesh, the voter participation stands at 9.05 per cent, while Bihar recorded a turnout of 10.18 per cent.

Jammu and Kashmir saw a turnout of 5.07 per cent, while Jharkhand registered 11.78 per cent.

In Madhya Pradesh, 14.97 per cent voters have cast their votes, while in Maharashtra, 6.45 per cent voter participation was recorded.

Odisha reported a turnout of 9.23 per cent, while Telangana saw a voter turnout of 9.51 per cent till 9.00 am.

In Uttar Pradesh, 11.67 per cent of voters have cast their votes, while 15.24 per cent voter turnout has been recorded in West Bengal.
