In a massive crackdown after the Pahalgam terror attack, the security forces have blown up houses of three more terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, Times of India reported.

The latest action pushes the total number of such demolitions to nine since the Pahalgam attack on 22 April, in which 26 people were brutally killed.

According to security officials cited in a PTI report on Sunday, properties in Bandipora, Pulwama and Shopian districts had been razed as part of the ongoing crackdown on the terror ecosystem.

In Shopian’s Wandina village, security forces demolished the house of Adnan Shafi, who joined terror ranks last year, on Saturday (26 April) night.

Separately, the residence of active terrorist Amir Nazir was razed in Pulwama, while the home of Lashkar-e-Taiba operative Jameel Ahmad Shergojri, who has been involved in terror activities since 2016, was demolished in Bandipora.

The demolitions are part of the stepped-up security response after the Pahalgam massacre, where terrorists killed 26 people, including a Nepali tourist, and injured several others at Baisaran meadow.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pledged to chase down the perpetrators “to the ends of the earth,” triggering a series of crackdowns and encounters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had vowed to pursue the terrorists "to the ends of the earth," and the subsequent security crackdown has seen a wave of demolitions and encounters.

Earlier, properties linked to terror suspects, including Zakir Ahmad Ganie in Kulgam and LeT commander Shahid Ahmad Kuttay in Chotipora, Shopian, was demolished.

Ganie was believed to have been active since 2023, while Kuttay had allegedly been involved in anti-national activities for over three years.

According to officials, the properties were razed by carrying out controlled demolitions to avoid damage to neighbouring houses.

The crackdown has also seen the houses of Adil Hussain Thoker, also known as Adil Guree, Asif Sheikh in Awantipora, and Ahsan Sheikh in Pulwama demolished.

Intelligence reports suggest Adil Guree visited Pakistan in 2018 for terror training and re-entered Jammu and Kashmir in 2024 to assist Pakistani terrorists involved in the Pahalgam terror attack.
