Speculations Galore As Modi Government Announces Special Parliament Session From 18-22 September

Will it be UCC or early elections or something else?

Social media is abuzz with multiple speculations as the Centre has announced a special Parliament session, lasting five days, from 18-22 September.

Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi tweeted: “Special Session of Parliament (13th Session of 17th Lok Sabha and 261st Session of Rajya Sabha) is being called from 18th to 22nd September having five sittings. Amid Amrit Kaal looking forward to having fruitful discussions and debate in Parliament".

Joshi or any other minister or official from the government has not said what the agenda of this session would be.

In the normal course, the next session of Parliament would have been the winter session.

The previous session of the Parliament, Monsoon session, concluded on 11 August.
