"Dr S Jaishankar and Nirmala Sitharaman may contest from Karnataka or from other state constituencies. There is still no clarity about the constituency," Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said in Karnataka's Hubballi, ANI reported.
However, Joshi later clarified that he hadn't named anybody specifically.
"I have only said that anybody can contest, and not specifically (named anyone). It is a national party and our leadership will decide. I have not said it like that," Joshi was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
