Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has directed the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) to ensure that the UP Police Constable Result 2024 is declared by the end of October.

The results, once announced, will be available on the UPPRPB's official website, uppbpb.gov.in.

“Prepare to release the result of Police Constable Recruitment Exam by the end of this month. The recruitment process for vacant posts should be accelerated, the purity of the examinations must be ensured at all costs: Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj,” the official post on Yogi Adityanath Office’s ‘X’ (earlier known as Twitter) reads.

The re-examination for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 was conducted across 1,174 centres in 67 districts on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August.

Candidates who pass the written exam will have to attend the Physical Endurance Test (PET).

Those appearing for the PET are required to bring a valid ID, a passport-sized photo, and a printed copy of their e-admit card.

Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to take part in the PET, and the UPPRPB will not send admit cards by post.

Amid controversies over national-level exams, this recruitment drive in UP aims to fill 60,244 constable positions.

Spanning 67 districts and covering 1,174 centres across UP, the exam was conducted in ten shifts over five days, with 48,17,315 candidates, including 6,30,481 from other states, taking part.
