Yogi Adityanath Announces 30% Reservation For Women In UP Police Ahead Of Recruitment On 59,000 Posts

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a 30 per cent reservation for women in the state police on Thursday (19 October) during Nari Shakti Vandan event held at Bagla Degree College in Hathras.

Soon, there will be recruitment for 52,699 constable positions in the UP Police, with approximately 30 per cent (around 15,807) of these positions reserved for women.

Apart from constables, vacant posts of 2,469 sub-inspectors, 545 radio operators, 2,833 computer operators and 521 jail wardens will also be filled. The application process is expected to commence in October, with the selection based on a written exam, physical test, and medical test.

Adityanath also enumerated the initiatives of both the central and state governments. Additionally, without naming the opposition, he launched an attack saying that before 2017, the state had an atmosphere of lawlessness, and sisters and daughters felt insecure.

Praising the place, he said that there is no taste without Hathras' asafoetida. Subsequently, he systematically mentioned the welfare schemes of his double-engine government, Live Hindustan reported.

Adityanath stated The BJP not only speaks but also demonstrates what it says and now women feel secure. In the last six and a half years, we have witnessed a vision of a new India, where the country is progressing not on the basis of caste and religion but .

The CM mentioned that the state has witnessed a transformation in the last six and a half years with the spirit of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' as 55 lakh people have been provided housing, free electricity connections have been given and 10 crore people have benefited from the PM Ayushman Yojana.
