Yogi Adityanath Government Comes Up With Pink Booths For Women's Vaccination Drive In Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a decision, in a review meeting, on special vaccination booths for women. The pink booths will encourage women in the state to take the jab in the fight against Covid-19.
The pink booths will start operating in 75 districts across the state this week.
In a post on Twitter, Yogi Adityanath described the vaccine as "teeka jeet ka" (the vaccine of victory)
The state government has given directions to set up the pink booth camps in district women hospitals or district joint hospitals or tehsils.
The Adityanath government has directed the districts to install at least two special booths for women that are focussed on two target age groups — 18-44 and those above 45.
Adityanath has said that work must now begin on increasing the "target set under Mission June by three times for July." The government has set the target of administering 1 crore vaccine doses under 'Mission June'.
Uttar Pradesh has reportedly crossed the milestone of administering 20,234,598 Covid-19 vaccine doses and 30 lakh people in the 18-44 age group.
