In a significant electoral shift, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has asserted its dominance in seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) across central states, notably outperforming the Congress compared to the 2018 assembly elections.

Madhya Pradesh: BJP Seizes 28 ST Seats

In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP has made substantial inroads, leading in 28 ST seats, overshadowing Congress, which led 18.

This marks a stark reversal from the 2018 assembly elections when Congress won 30 ST seats, leaving BJP with only 16.

Chhattisgarh: BJP Leads In 18 ST Seats

Chhattisgarh witnessed a similar trend, with the BJP securing a lead in 18 ST seats, while Congress trailed with 10.

This is a notable departure from the 2018 polls when Congress claimed victory in 25 ST seats, and BJP held only 3.

Rajasthan: BJP Triumphs in 12 ST Seats

Rajasthan completes the trifecta, where the BJP has gained a significant foothold by winning 12 ST seats, surpassing Congress, which secured 10.

In 2018, Congress had an edge in this category with 12 seats, while BJP trailed with 9.

This sweeping change in ST seat dynamics underscores the BJP's outreach in regions with a significant tribal population.

As the final results unfold, the BJP's triumph in ST constituencies signifies a substantial reconfiguration of political equations in these central states, setting the stage for a nuanced analysis of changing electoral dynamics.
