Following Ganapati Homam, PM Modi Performs Sashtanga Namaskara Before Sengol And Adheenams

The Sengol from 1947 was placed in the new Parliament today.

This was preceded by a Ganapati Homam conducted by priests in which the purnahuti was offered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Following the purnahuti, the Prime Minister walked to the Sengol that was placed a few steps away, with various Adheenams standing around it.

The Prime Minister performed a sashtanga namaskara to the Sengol and the Saivite saints before the four Adheenams, led by the Thiruvavaduthurai Adheenam handed over the Sengol to the PM.
