Security Forces Seize Huge Cache Of Arms In J&K's Kokernag; Three Arrested

Indian Army troops conducted a successful operation in south Kashmir's Kokernag on Wednesday night, and recovered a large amounts of arms and ammunitions from three individuals.
During the operation, one hand grenade and two AK magazines containing a total of 56 live rounds were recovered from the individuals.
While the search operation was underway, the terrorists attempted to disrupt the cordon by hurling a grenade, leading to the injury of two civilians and three army personnel.
The injured were promptly evacuated to Kokernag Hospital for treatment.
The operation was executed in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the apprehended individuals were taken into custody from the Wagar area under Khansahib Police Station.
Further details regarding the incident are currently awaited as the investigation continues.
In a separate incident on Monday, security forces successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by two terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the general area of Degwar Terwan in the Poonch district.
