After Uttar Pradesh Losses, BJP Is Taking These Measures To Please Party Workers And Boost Cadre Morale

The 'displeased' Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cadre was said to be one of the reasons for its losses in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Now, the party is trying to infuse enthusiasm in its workers through various measures.

Open avenues of communication

It was alleged that the BJP MLAs and workers did not have any channels to communicate their grievances. However, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya are now listening to them.

Earlier, public representatives had to allegedly wait to meet the CM. Now, Adityanath is reportedly giving quick appointments to them and meeting them as a priority.

Listening to grievances against bureaucracy

Saiyadraja MLA Sushil Singh, Bulandshahr MLA Pradeep Chaudhary, and Loni MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar have openly criticized the bureaucracy, the high-handedness of which was also one of the reasons for the loss.

The UP CM is also holding division-wise meetings with public representatives, where they are free to share grievances against the bureaucracy, such as officers ignoring their calls, among others.

Appointments in boards

The party is planning to fill the various vacant posts in several government committees, boards, and corporations. UP BJP president Bhupendra Chaudhary and general secretary of the organization Dharampal Singh have already held meetings in this regard.

Councilors are to be nominated for sugarcane committees and urban local bodies. Urban local bodies need 2,805 nominated councilors. Dedicated workers are being considered for these posts.

Appointments in commissions

The state is set to get new presidents for Backward Class Commission and Scheduled Caste (SC) Commission. Similarly, the State Women Commission and Cow Welfare Commission are also set to be formed.

The BJP is likely to appoint its workers to these positions. Discussions on the names have already taken place and the names have been sent to the CM. The appointments are expected to take place soon.
