Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal seems to be on an apology spree. Kejriwal today (19 March) issued a written apology to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari facing defamation case proceedings for allegations he had made against the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader.

Kejriwal had recently apologised to Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia facing another defamation case after being unable to substantiate his allegations against Majithia.

Kejriwal had included Gadkari in an AAP list of ‘India’s Most Corrupt’ people following which Gadkari had filed the defamation suit stating that his reputation as an honest politician had been damaged by Kejriwal’s claims.

However, Gadkari has now agreed to take back the case since the apology has been issued.

Kejriwal is still facing several other defamation cases, including by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Congress leader Kapil Sibal.
