Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia (@Pinging18/Twitter)
Senior AAP leader and Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has publicly declared that he stands in solidarity with Shaheen Bagh protesters.
It may be recalled that Arvind Kejriwal led AAP had decided to steer clear of openly taking sides over CAA and NRC which also led to a rebuke from Congress leader Shashi Tharoor. Kejriwal and co were said to be playing safe in light of the upcoming Delhi elections.
The Shaheen Bagh protesters who have been accused of brainwashing small children and indulging in fake fear mongering, have also been causing acute inconvenience to Delhi residents.
It was reported that parents of school children have expressed deep anxiety of their kids facing huge hardships in reaching schools and coaching centres due to the blockade created by the Shaheen Bagh protesters.
