Missing CCD Founder VG Siddhartha’s Body Recovered From The Banks Of Nethravati River Near Mangaluru

Cafe Coffee Day founder VG Siddhartha’s body has been found on the banks of Nethravati river near Mangluru on Wednesday (31 July). The Coffee baron went missing on Monday (29 July) evening from the Ullal bridge over the Nethravati river, reports The New Indian Express.
The district administration had launched a massive search operation to find Siddhartha, who was son-in-law of former Karnataka chief minister SM Krishna. His body was found in the early hours of this morning on the banks of the Nethravati river.
"We found the body early morning today. It needs to be identified, we have already informed the family members. We are shifting the body to Wenlock Hospital. We will continue further investigation," Mangaluru Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil said, as reported by NDTV.
Earlier on Monday (29 July) evening, the CCD founder reportedly got off from his car near Ullal bridge across the Nethravati river near Mangalore, about 375 km from Bengaluru, but did not return even after an hour. His driver went looking for him but could not find him anywhere so he alerted the family members and then informed the police.
Following the incident, a parting letter purportedly written by Siddhartha also emerged in the media. The letter was addressed to the employees and board of the CCD.
“I would like to say I gave it my all. I am very sorry to let down all the people who put their trust in me. I fought for a long time but today I gave up...”, Siddhartha wrote in the letter
