Pakistan Foreign Minister Summons Emergency Meeting In Islamabad, After IAF Jets Flatten JeM Targets

In the aftermath of IAF (Indian Air Force) strike in Pakistan which destroyed terrorist camps in Pakistan in the wee hours of Tuesday (26 February), Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has called for an emergency meeting of officials to discuss the national security situation, reports ANI.

Confirming IAF strikes, minister of state for agriculture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat tweeted: “Air Force carried out aerial strike early morning today at terror camps across the LoC (Line of Control) and Completely destroyed it.”

Even Pakistan’s military confirmed that Indian military aircraft crossed into Pakistan territory in the Kashmir region and “released a payload” inside the country.

Breaching Pakistan

At about 3.30 am in the morning twelve Mirage 2000 aircraft, struck a major terrorist camps across LoC, which led to its destruction. It added that 1000 kg bombs were dropped at the target site.

Striking the region lying in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, multiple Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter entered deep into the enemy controlled territory to carry out the air strikes

The current situation along the LoC continues to remain tense.
