Days before the second anniversary of India’s surgical strike on Pakistan, National Security Analyst Nitin Gokhale has shared a never before seen footage of the strike.
The video contains footage of cameras mounted on the headgears worn by Indian Jawans and also from an unmanned areal vehicle monitoring the proceedings. He has announced that there would be more footage released soon.
The surgical strike was carried out by the Indian Army on 29 September 2016, in response to the Uri terror attack perpetrated by Pakistan based terror organisations Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Video footage of the surgical strike was also released in June by a media outfit which shows terrorists being killed, besides destruction of bunkers and other installations.
Earlier Indian Army Chief General VK Singh had stated that there is a need to carry out another surgical strike, but declined to go into the specifics.
