Soon after Delhi's Tis Hazari court denied interim protection to the Chief Minister's personal secretary Bibhav Kumar, Arvind Kejriwal released a video message challenging the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Bibhav Kumar was arrested earlier today (18 May) after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal alleged that he physically assaulted her at the Delhi CM's residence on Monday.

While Kejriwal earlier refused to comment anything on the matter, today he came out in support of Kumar and said, "They have put my PA in jail," and cited other arrests of AAP leaders.

Challenging BJP, he said that tomorrow he will be going to the BJP headquarters at 12 pm with all big leaders including MLAs and MPs and left it to the ruling party to put as many as AAP leaders in jail as it pleases.

The video message came after a Delhi court did not grant interim protection to Bibhav Kumar, depsite his lawyer arguing that Maliwal enetered the CM's residence without permission as a trespasser.

While AAP itself accepted Bibhav Kumar's "misbehaviour" with Maliwal earlier, it is now alleging that the allegations are BJP's conspiracy as it blackmailed the former DCW chief over the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) case.
