Divya Abhisheka of Ramlalla at Ayodhya Mandir

The darshan at Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya started early in the morning at 3:30 am on the occasion of the first Ram Navmi since the consecration of Ramlalla at the temple.

The well-planned celebratory day started with Mangala Aarti followed by 'Divya Abhisheka' of Ramlalla where he was bathed with milk passed through conch and made ready for the day.

Soon after was Shringar Aarti where 'Divya Shringar' was done to Ramlalla. He can be seen in clothes of yellow and pink colour and jeweled with gold, silver and various gems.

Keeping the massive crowd of devotees in mind, the curtains will be closed only for 5 minutes during the four Bhog offerings to Ramlalla and darshan will continue till 11 pm.

Surya Tilak of Ramlalla will happen at 12:16 pm for five minutes where the rays of the Sun will fall on the forehead of the 51-inches tall murti.

The sunlight will adorn Ramlalla's forehead with a circular 'tilak', measuring 75mm. On every Ram Navmi hence, the garbhagriha will be illuminated thus by the sun.
