Delhi Liquor Policy Case: Arvind Kejriwal, Kavitha, AAP's Goa Fund Manager To Remain In Judicial Custody Till 7 May

The judicial custody of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha was extended for another two weeks till 7 May in the liquor policy case, HT reported.
Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) alleged fund manager for Goa elections, Chanpreet Singh's custody was also extended to the same date after the three accused were presented before the Rouse Avenue Court virtually.
This comes a day after the court rejected Kejriwal's plea seeking a daily 15-minute video consultation with his doctor in the presence of his wife Sunita and asked Tihar jail authorities to provide all required medical treatment.
Following this order, he was administered a "low dose" of insulin yesterday evening. AAP had been alleging that he was deliberately not being given insulin as the BJP was conspiring to kill him.
Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on 21 March in the Delhi liquor policy case where the agency has alleged AAP of using kickbacks from the policy in the Goa elections.
Kavitha was arrested almost a week before him on 15 March following a search by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at her residence in Hyderabad.
The BRS leader is accused of being a key member of the "South Group," which allegedly paid the ruling AAP in Delhi kickbacks of Rs 100 crore in return for a big share of liquor licences in the national capital.
