Rahul Gandhi's Victory Margin To Drastically Come Down In Wayanad, As Per Exit Polls

Annie Raja (L), Rahul Gandhi (C) and K Surendran (R) are contesting from Wayanad.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's vote share is expected to go down in Kerala's Wayanad in comparison to the 2019 elections, as per various exit polls.

Gandhi got around 65 per cent votes in 2019 and won by a margin of over 4 lakh votes. However, VMR-Manorama News has predicted that he will get only 50 per cent votes this time.

The Congress-led United Democratic Fund (UDF) is expected to win 16 of the 20 seats in the state, down from 19 in 2019, while the BJP is not expected to win any seat.

However, the Axis My India exit poll predicted 27 per cent vote share for BJP-led NDA, the Times Now ETG Research poll predicted 18 per cent and Today’s Chanakya predicted 28 ± 3 per cent.

The VMR-Manorama News exit poll expects the ruling Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) to win two seats and a tough contest in two seats of Alathur and Kannur.
