7:15 pm: According to India Today, the Indian National Congress (INC) has an upper edge over the BJP in the Hyderabad Karnataka region.

The numbers are as follows:

  • 7:08 pm: CNN-News18 target numbers:

  • 6:52 pm: According to psephologist Pradeep Bhandari, the Bajrang Bali comments have helped consolidate Hindutva votes in the coastal region.

    6.50 pm: Zee News exit poll:

    • BJP: 79-94

  • Congress: 103-118

  • Jan Ki Baat-Suvarna exit poll:

    • BJP: 94-117

  • 6.39 pm: Anti-incumbency factor not showing in the coast

    • According to the India Today–Axis My India exit poll, the anti-incumbency factor isn't in play in coastal Karnataka as the BJP is set to remain strong.

  • The projections so far are 16 seats for the BJP, three seats for the Congress, and zero for the JD(S) and Others.

  • 6.00 pm: Polling for all 224 of the Karnataka Assembly seats concluded at 6 pm, this evening.

    The results will be out on 13 May.

    However, before that, multiple news agencies and psephologists will come out with their numbers through exit polls and other exercises.
