Chennai Conclave To Explore Public Discourse Standards On Social Media

The standards of public discourse on social media will be explored at a conclave in Chennai on 18 November.
The Tamil Nadu Young Thinkers Forum (TNYTF) is organising its 1st Social Media Conclave in association with the ARR Charitable Trust with an aim to elevate the quality of public discourse in Tamil Nadu as well as the country.
The day-long conclave that will begin at 9am will appraise social media trends in the state, citizen engagement in governance using social media, role of social media in enhancing quality of public discourse and the future of social media, followed by an open house.
MA FOI K Pandiarajan, Minister for Tamil, Art and Culture, Archaeology and Museums will be the chief guest. Journalists, authors, bloggers and columnists are among the speakers lined up at the conclave.
